| Paleyellow Iris, also called Yellow Flag, is a native of Europe. In North America it has become an invasive plant in some areas. It is not common in the Mobile area, but I have spotted a few wild plants in South Mobile County, near Deer River Road and near Ramsay Road. Paleyellow Iris is our only yellow iris. These plants were photographed in mid April. |
