Pinkscale Blazing Star is a flower of early autumn. It is found in dry piney woods and along roadsides, where the white or almost white color makes it relatively easy to seperate from the other liatris species. Pinkscale Blazing Star is a member of the Aster family. These plants were photographed at Historic Blakeley State Park, in Baldwin County, Alabama, in late September. |
