Stream Bogmoss

| This plant is not a moss, in spite of the name. When not in flower, Stream Bogmoss does resemble moss, especially members of the Club Moss family. True moss does not have flowers. As the "stream" and "bog" in the name indicate, the is a plant of wet, boggy areas. These plants were photographed near Old Citronelle Road, in North Mobile County, in late September. |
