Narrowleaf Plantain is also known as Lanceleaf Plantain or Ribwort, and in older books it may be called English Plantain. It is an invasive species, native to Europe, now found over most of North America. The long white stamens are the most distinctive part of the flower. These plants were photographed in early April, in Chickasaw, Alabama. |
