Nightflowering Wild Petunia is found in only a few coastal counties from Louisiana to Georgia. As both the common and scientific names indicate, it flowers at night. By late morning the flowers are dropping off of the plant, as in the last photograph. These plants were photographed along Bayou Heron Road, in the Grand Bay National Wildlife Refuge, in mid May. |
