Pink Sundew is a carnivorious plant. The flower is large for the size of the plant, and easier to spot than the basal rosette. Compare to Dwarf Sundew and note that the leaves of Pink Sundew are more spatulate than those of Dwarf Sundew. Also, notice that the flower stem of the Dwarf Sundew has numerous glandular hairs (hairs tipped with a drop of liquid), while the Pink Sundew has a smooth flower stem. Pink Sundew may have pink flowers: the plants I have seen had white flowers. These plants were photographed near Rabbit Creek, in South Mobile County, Alabama, in early May.
